Call for entries: The Art of Brooklyn Poster Design Contest

What does Brooklyn film look like to you?

Calling all artists, graphic designers, photographers and everyone who loves to create: The Art of Brooklyn wants to see how you see us. So we’re holding our first competition to design the official poster for our 2012 Film Festival.

Take your inspiration from anything and everything Brooklyn: The neighborhoods. The residents. The history. The energy. Then design a poster that gets people excited about our Festival. Art meets film meets community, that’s what we’re all about.

Everyone is eligible. You don’t have to be from Brooklyn, you just have to love it.

The winning design will become the official image for the 2012 Art of Brooklyn Film Festival and will be used in all our promotional materials (Ads, Programs, Posters, Online, etc.) Entries will be judged by a panel of advertising and graphic arts professionals. All proceeds go to support The Art of Brooklyn, a nonprofit dedicated to the art and culture of the Borough.

The winner also receives two tickets to our Opening Night Party and one All-Access Pass to the Festival, which covers all screenings and after parties.

Finalists will be displayed in Callahan Center at St. Francis College during the week of the Festival.
